I considered pre-ordering this game, but I am going to wait a week or two after launch to see what other gamers think about it.
@Nichstaroni Twitch.tv/Nichstaroni YouTube.com/Nichstaroni This is not a good trailer. The visuals are good, but the music did not fit and it was competing with the dialogue. I look forward to […]
@Nichstaroni Twitch.tv/Nichstaroni YouTube.com/Nichstaroni Now with four player co-op. I think I played a demo of the first Trine, and purchased all three games, but never played them… Hopefully, with Trine […]
There is no doubt the success or failure of The Division 2 will depend largely on the gunplay. The bullet-sponginess of the first game (one of my all time favorite games), is universally hated. The reason why I loved The Division so much, while others expressed more mixed feelings, is because I played mainly support and high electronics geared layouts, which are less dependent on firearms.
I have spent several hours in the Forge, trying to recreate some of my favorite superheros and movie characters. The main drawback right now, is that you can only have five painted suits saved, per Javelin. And because I have decided to only play Ranger and Storm, I can only save ten painted suits.
It basically tells you the state of AAA launches these days. The gaming industry went from having no season passes, to one season pass, to multiple seasons and DLCs you need to buy to continue enjoying a game.
I am enjoying Anthem, the load screens however, are annoying.
The CEO of Saber Interactive mentions the revenue disparity between Epic Games Store's 88 percent and Steam's 70 percent, as the deciding factor in the price reduction.
I experienced some annoying graphical issues when playing Metro Exodus. In fact, I spent more time trying to get the graphics right, instead of actually playing the game. Metro Exodus is quite fun and reminds me of past games I really enjoyed, like the Half-Life series. I have not played Metro 2033 or Metro Last Light yet.
Based on this launch trailer, the hype is real. Lots of love from gaming publications. That probably will not stop it from getting review bombed on Steam. It's early days yet, but it's currently sitting at Mostly Positive.
Enderal: Forgotten Stories is now available on Steam. I was able to launch the game on high settings, but not on very high or Ultra settings on my I7 5830K GTX 980.
Far Cry New Dawn and Metro Exodus launching on the same day is a B&@$! But, I guess I cannot complain too much if they are great games, right? Happy shooting everybody.
So, they post a video on February 14, and in the video they say the number one question people are asking is about the launch date. Oh, by the way, it's tomorrow, February 15...in early access for Origin Premier and EA Access...
This trailer does help with the Days Gone hype, because it was looking straight to DVD for a minute. Anyway, check out Deacon and Sarah's wedding website. Save yourself a few bucks and not get them anything, because the world's about to end.
This is another way Epic Games Store is competing with Steam, even if Steam currently offers regional pricing, it will no longer be an advantage for Steam. Steam's 15 year run of solely dominating PC gaming digital distribution, is over.
In this Rage 2 Alpha? Pre-Beta we see God a Ranger crush NPCs like ants. I don't think he was touched once in the gameplay.
The below video discusses Metro Exodus' Special Weapons: the Tikhar long range rifle and stealthy Helsing crossbow.
I hope they improved the gunplay and made it more satisfying, because right now, it feels like The Division 1 gunplay.
The Division 2 beta gunplay, in the early stages, is awesome. Maybe later on the gunplay will return to super-bullet sponge mode at higher levels, but early on it is very satisfying.
I played The Division 2 beta today, and the game seems very familiar. It was like playing a new and improved version of the first game. I spent about an hour adjusting settings, trying to get a steady 60 frames per second (FPS). The video below is a summary of that game setup.
This gameplay of Far Cry New Dawn by PlayStation Underground shows a little of the H.M.S. MacCoubrey Expedition mission. Also check out my Far Cry New Dawn Steam Giveaway (USA).
I saw the World War Z movie and I enjoyed it. But you could tell where they patched it together because of all the reported production problems. And now it seems like a sequel to that Brad Pitt hit movie, is not going to happen.
Metro Exodus’ main story, which can be completed either aggressively or conservatively, takes place over an entire year in the game.
This trailer for Sekiro left me with mixed feelings. Not about practice? the game, but /spoiler cutting that kid in the face...
