It feels kinda weird that The Game Awards creator makes a cameo in a game that is nominated for The Game Awards Game of the Year. It’s probably not a big deal, but it’s just weird.
The nominees for The Game Awards Game of the Year are:
- Death Stranding
- Resident Evil 2
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- The Outer Worlds
I hope to play Control, RE2 and The Outer Worlds in the future and I also think Control is going to win.
I thought A Plague Tale: Innocence, another game I have not played, would get a GOTY nomination. It’s up for Best Narrative.
In past years, a game like Disco Elysium would probably win Game of the Year. Instead, like A Plague Tale: Innocence, it’s also up for Best Narrative and not Game of the Year.
I am sure Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen were excellent in bringing their respective characters to life in Death Stranding and their nominations for Best Performance also increases the chance they show up for the awards show. Both of those things can be true.
A little Hollywood pizzazz never hurt anyone.
Anyway, I am going to go ahead and assume there is an error in the Best Multiplayer Game category, because the game picture for Rainbow Six Siege does not match the game title The Division 2.
Between those two games, the error is probably The Division 2 was incorrectly listed, because that game disappointed everyone.
Lastly, what does the King of the YouTube Walkthrough have to do to get nominated for Content Creator of the Year?
