Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order looks like it’s going to be a hit. It looks like an actual game, instead of the typical EA Star Wars game, which are usually micro-transaction storefronts. Pardon me, Surprise Mechanics storefronts.
This demo was shown to video game journalists behind the scenes at E3 2019, but I do not think it contributed much to the hype for the game, which is why I assume publishers do these behind the scenes previews.
The most hyped game coming out of E3 2019 was Cybperpunk 2077, and that is because they revealed Keanu Reeves’ involvement in front of the entire world, and allowed social media to hype it from there.
If you want buzz, hiding your game from the public and showing it to select game journos is not as effective as blasting it over the loud speaker (showing it on stage), and allowing the Internet to do it’s job.
Anyway, the visuals and gameplay are ok, just add a good story and this should be a hit.
