From the reaction on Twitter, people seem to be most upset with the depiction of Scar. Because he does not look like the animated version, complete with a black mane.

But I think the producers/director of this project wanted Scar to look like a Hyena, since that is the group of animals he is hanging out with, while he spends his “life in the dark, begging for scrap.”

This movie should be a hit though, no question about it.
