Today I pre-purchased several games on my wishlist:
- Call of Duty WWII
- Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
- Life Is Strange: Before The Storm
- Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
- The Evil Within 2
- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
- South Park: The Fractured But Whole
- Assassin’s Creed: Origins
- Need For Speed: Payback
- Star Wars Battlefront II
One game I considered, but did not pre-purchase, was Agents of Mayhem because of it’s price, $59.99.
Agents of Mayhem does not feature a multiplayer or co-op mode, yet it still retails for $59.99…It’s just automatic with developers these days. If they make a game, they are automatically going to sell it for top dollar, no matter what content or value it delivers.
Maybe I will be proven wrong and Agents of Mayhem turns out to be a major hit, but I doubt it. I will check out some gameplays on YouTube after launch, but I will not be playing this one any time soon.
I may revisit Agents of Mayhem next summer when there is a Steam sale, but right now at $59.99, I have to pass.
